Alex Anastas received his Bachelor of Fine Arts Education from Ohio University in Athens, Ohio, where his paintings and installations were frequently exhibited in both academic galleries and off campus residencies. Mr. Anastas went on to receive a Masters of Art from the University of New South Wales in Sydney, Australia. While living in Australia, he exhibited his artwork in both academic as well as private galleries, and is a member of Imaging the Land International Research Institute (ILIRI).

Mr. Anastas has traveled extensively through Europe, Africa and the Australian continents, and thus he is always excited to bring a global perspective to the Energy Tech classroom. Mr. Anastas has a passion for not only visual arts, but also live music, all sports, and the outdoors.
