Beth Antonelli
Assistant Principal

Beth Antonelli has been an educator with New York City public schools for the past five years. She began her career in the South Bronx. She has taught English and Special Education, led teacher teams, been a model teacher, and worked on a fellowship with the Expanded Succcess Initiative program to develop culturally responsive English curriculum.

Ms. Antonelli graduated from Colgate University with a B.A. in 2003, and went on to earn a J.D. from University of Pittsburgh School of Law in 2006. She received a Masters in Teaching English and Special Education from Manhattanville College in 2012. Finally, she earned her M.Ed in school leadership from Teachers College in 2016. Before becoming a teacher, Ms. Antonelli was a trial attorney in New York City in the area of family law. She ultimately decided that her passion was in working with students, and she transitioned into the classroom.

Ms. Antonelli is interested in understanding how strong leadership and collaboration can lay the groundwork for an effective school. She is thrilled to be joining the Energy Tech team, and looks forward to working with staff and students to ensure that students are prepared for a rigorous path from high school to college and ultimately, to a fulfilling career.
