Brett Lutterbein
Teacher, History

Brett Lutterbein has been a high school History teacher in New York City for the past three years. He previously taught at a charter school in Harlem and completed his student teaching in Rochester, New York. 

Mr. Lutterbein enjoys working with the Energy Tech students as they start their first year of high school history classes. He previously taught 11th grade American History and 12th grade Participation in Government. He is an avid sports fan, and has coached basketball, volleyball, and baseball at his previous school. 

Mr. Lutterbein received a B.A. in History from St. Bonaventure University in 2008, and completed a M.S. in Special Education and Adolescent Social Studies at St. John Fisher College in Rochester. 

In his free time, Mr. Lutterbein enjoys traveling and following his favorite sports teams, especially the Chicago Cubs!
