For as long as she can remember, Emily Owens has been passionate about Health and Wellness. Following her passion, she has earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Health and Physical Education from Slippery Rock University in Pennsylvania. She also earned a Master of Science degree in Health Education at Teachers College, Columbia University.

In addition to being a Health and Physical Education teacher, Ms. Owens loves to explore new places and try new things in her free time, especially if a sporting event or physical activity is involved. She also has coached tennis and Varsity Baseball. Ms. Owens is starting her 9th year of teaching and first year at Energy Tech. She is looking forward to providing all ETHS students will the health-related tools they need to lead long, happy, and healthy lives.
