Carolyn Ferrari

Carolyn Ferrari earned her B.A. in History/Secondary Education from Queens College where she graduated with honors in History. During her undergraduate career, Ms. Ferrari majored in European History and found a deeper love for Global History. Ms. Ferrari returned to Queens College to complete an M.S.ED. in Social Studies Education. Prior to teaching at Energy Tech, Ms. Ferrari taught Global History for three years at Mott Haven Community High School, a New York City transfer school in the South Bronx.

Jenny Fried

Jenny Fried moved from Northern California to New York City in 2008 to attend New York University. While at NYU, Ms. Fried majored in Classics with a focus in Ancient History and she traveled through Greece to study various archeological sites including the Acropolis in Athens, Marathon, and Delphi. She has extensively studied Ancient Greek and Latin. Before graduating, Ms.

Brett Lutterbein

Brett Lutterbein has been a high school History teacher in New York City for the past three years. He previously taught at a charter school in Harlem and completed his student teaching in Rochester, New York. 

Mr. Lutterbein enjoys working with the Energy Tech students as they start their first year of high school history classes. He previously taught 11th grade American History and 12th grade Participation in Government. He is an avid sports fan, and has coached basketball, volleyball, and baseball at his previous school.
