Matthew Flood received his BA in English and Philosophy from Manhattan College, and his Master of Education from the Harvard Graduate School of Education. Prior to teaching at Energy Tech, Mr. Flood taught ESL and writing to Adults, Undergraduates, and High School Students in Abu Dhabi at New York University Abu Dhabi. Afterwards, he student-taught at Snowden International High School, an IB public school in Boston, and is now thrilled to be an English teacher at Energy Tech.

In his free time, Mr. Flood loves to read literary fiction, science fiction, mysteries, fantasy, non-fiction; really anything that crosses his path. He also enjoys board games, hiking, baseball, running, and exploring the many museums of New York City!
