Katie Darmody

Katie Darmody holds a Bachelor of Arts in English and Visual Arts from Fordham University in the Bronx. A native New Yorker, she is grateful every day for living in the greatest city in the world! Ms. Darmody teaches Living Environment and Chemistry. She is so excited by the motivated students and dedicated teachers at Energy Tech and loves being part of the bright, ambitious community here. In her spare time, Ms. Darmody loves to practice yoga, draw, read, cook, and eat!

Caitlin Rudisill

Caitlin Rudisill is really excited to be starting at Energy Tech this year and teaching her favorite subject, Earth Science. She is originally from Gettysburg, Pennsylvania and just recently moved to Long Island, New York. She earned her Bachelor's of Science in Education from West Chester University of Pennsylvania with a focus in Geology. After college, she did field work in the Black Hill Mountains through the South Dakota School of Mines and Technology where she prepared stratigraphic columns, structural cross sections, and geological maps.

Amanda Garcia

Amanda Garcia grew up in southern New Mexico, but has fallen in love with New York City since she moved here! 

She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry and Education from Columbia University. Ms. Garcia's first teaching experience was teaching 8th grade math in Providence, Rhode Island, and she hasn't looked back since. 

Ms. Garcia loves being a part of the Energy Tech community and being able to share the knowledge of chemistry with her students and help them become true scientific thinkers and learners. 

Elizabeth Yablon

Elizabeth Yablon has a BA in Environmental Science and an MA in secondary science education. Ms. Yablon conducted ecological research on tree communities in Missouri, and is passionate about environmental and ecological education. She previously taught high school science on the Lower East Side of Manhattan, and has tutored students throughout New York City.
