David Morris

David Morris grew up in central Ohio and moved to New York City in 2014. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Physics from Oberlin College and a Master of Arts in Physics Education from NYU. Mr. Morris loves Energy Tech and its community. He loves sharing physics with everyone and is excited everyday to work with the students at Energy Tech. In his free time, Mr. Morris enjoys cooking for his fiance and bowling.

Fatema Ali

I am a General Education teacher of Living Environment and Earth Science. I was born and attended primary school in Bangladesh. After moving to America, I lived in Michigan to finish my middle school and high school education. I furthered my college education in NY achieving a Bachelor of Science in secondary education, 7-13 at CUNY York College.  It is fascinating to be part of such a diverse city, New York where I get to learn something different every day.  I love exploring different cultures and languages especially cultural foods.

Katie Darmody

Katie Darmody holds a Bachelor of Arts in English and Visual Arts from Fordham University in the Bronx. A native New Yorker, she is grateful every day for living in the greatest city in the world! Ms. Darmody teaches Living Environment and Chemistry. She is so excited by the motivated students and dedicated teachers at Energy Tech and loves being part of the bright, ambitious community here. In her spare time, Ms. Darmody loves to practice yoga, draw, read, cook, and eat!

Amanda Garcia

Amanda Garcia grew up in southern New Mexico, but has fallen in love with New York City since she moved here! 

She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry and Education from Columbia University. Ms. Garcia's first teaching experience was teaching 8th grade math in Providence, Rhode Island, and she hasn't looked back since. 

Ms. Garcia loves being a part of the Energy Tech community and being able to share the knowledge of chemistry with her students and help them become true scientific thinkers and learners.
