Chris Luminello

Chris Luminello received his undergraduate degree from Rutgers University, and is currently pursuing his graduate degree from St. John's University. He enjoys reading, writing, acting, and pop culture. He is thrilled to be a part of the Energy Tech community, and is excited to help each and every student be the best student that they can be!

Kat Talreja

Kat Talreja attended SUNY Purchase and earned a B.A in Media Communications with a minor in History and Sociology. She then went on to attend Brooklyn College graduating with a M.S in Special Education Generalist 7-12 and History. Prior to becoming a teacher, Ms. Talreja was a Producer working in Advertising and Film for almost a decade. Two years ago she became a high school teacher in Brooklyn. Ms. Talreja joined Energy Tech in her third year of teaching to bring her passion for the arts and history back to Queens, the community she grew up in.

Will McCool

Will McCool grew up in the backwoods of Massachusetts and has found a new home amongst the towering buildings of New York. After receiving his masters degree at Relay Graduate School of Education he moved into the world of teaching. The last two years he was teaching at the Collegiate Institute for Math and Science in the Bronx.

Hamilton Lao

Mr. Lao is a Teaching Fellow with a Master's degree in Criminal Justice. He has prior experience as a Surveillance Specialist, Garnishments, and Child Protective Specialist. He enjoys martial arts/boxing and holds a black belt in Karate and a Brown belt in Judo. Mr. Lao is passionate about the power education has to change lives and is extremely excited to be a part of the Energy Tech High School family.

Beth Antonelli

Beth Antonelli has been an educator with New York City public schools for the past five years. She began her career in the South Bronx. She has taught English and Special Education, led teacher teams, been a model teacher, and worked on a fellowship with the Expanded Succcess Initiative program to develop culturally responsive English curriculum.
