Tara Imparato graduated from SUNY Geneseo where she earned her BA in Sociology and CUNY Hunter where she earned a Master's Degree in Social Work with a focus on Community Organizing, Planning and Development. Go SUNY & CUNY!

This is Ms. Imparato's 5th year working in an early college high school.  Previously, she has worked on both the high school and college sides of the model as she has served as a Parent Coordinator, Community Coordinator and Early College Liaison at City Polytechnic High School of Engineering, Architecture and Technology/New York City College of Technology in Downtown Brooklyn.  

Ms. Imparato is excited to connect all of those experiences with her background in social work as Energy Tech's first grade 13 college and career counselor.  Having moved from her home borough of Brooklyn to Astoria/Long Island City last year, Ms. Imparato can't think of a better place to help support students in their college and career goals!
